Syber bullying

Yes, that "S" is deliberate. If you know what it means, fuck off the whole lot of you.

Clearly, I have invested way too much time and emotional energy in a bunch of faceless bitches on a message board since the shit flinging I've attracted over all the stuff with Maggie and now our interest in buying Hope has cut entirely too deep for my own liking. Time to find something else to do with my time for a while.

What do they have to bully you about? Not to mention the fact that what you do is really none of their damn business. . some people really need to reevaluate and GET A FUCKING LIFE!

lol.. sorry I have issues with faceless people inserting themselves into situations they think they understand.

I think that if you and your hubby and kids want something and have the means to do it without endangering the welfare of your family then GO FOR IT! You only live once.. enjoy it.

It started with me getting all kinds of shit for us putting Maggie down. Following the vet's advice wasn't good enough (hell, we have a vet that is a member and she even said we did the right thing). I got accused of putting her down because she was a cheap horse and not worth spending the money on, we only spend $250 buying her, therefore we were putting her down because we couldn't afford to treat her, blah blah.

Then when I posted in my blog about us deciding to buy Hope, I was called out on SMs and told maybe I needed to learn more about horses, it was too soon, blah blah. I didn't mention it on SMs at all because I knew what they would say. I don't know what the magic timeline is for getting another horse, but I knew a week wouldn't be it. So, someone read it off my blog.

It never occurred to me that the people who would want to be nasty about it would care enough to read my blog and I had a link from SMs to here. Not anymore. I used to have some of them as FB friends, too, and I deleted a bunch of them.

Lesson learned. And I'm going to find something else to do with my time for a while. It might be a week, it might be a couple of months, it might be forever. But clearly I've let myself get too attached to a message board, because I was way too upset and pissed about it all.

Some people love nothing more than patronizing others and "proving" themselves right and others wrong. Probably because they're such pieces of crap that's the only way they can feel good about anything.
